PreFinished: PreFinished fiberglass doors do not come with a clear coat. A UV protected clear coat is need to help keep the door from warping or blistering. You can get this product at local hardware stores. Look for it where the stain is and look for polyurethane with sun block UV protector.
Unfinished: You can use a gel stain to match you existing wood work to finish you door or you can also paint your door to match how you see fit. Clear coat finishing rules are the same for prefinished and unfinished doors.
Check seals on your door yearly to ensure you have a tight weather seal.
Adjust threshold to ensure a tight fit on the bottom of the door. It is ok for the bottom seal to rub a little on the threshold this ensures a good
seal.
